This is the first novel from a new author and I can honestly say I can't wait for her next book! This is far superior in writing style and content than you would find in a romance novel. It grabbed me from the first page. The author draws you in with her vivid descriptions and I felt a strong connection to each character in the book. The main character, Eliza, is very relatable and you are quickly filled with compassion, if not empathy at times, for this lovely woman. My emotional response to the book ranged from sadness to horror to laughing out loud. This is a must-read from this new novelist.Product details

Lillian Densford's flowing style draws the reader in, making it almost impossible to stop reading. As the story unfolds, scene after scene comes to life through the author's gifts for dialogue and description. I wonder if this will be a bestseller. Will there be a sequel? I hope so!
After getting familiar with the characters, it was hard to put down. I am not an avid reader, but this truly held my attention . I felt that I was slipping away into someone else's emotional roller coaster life that I could relate to on my own. So looking forward to the next book!
